Integrated Pest Management

RxPest believes in a proactive approach to pest control and management, and our Integrated Pest Management approach can help to cut down on the amount of chemical necessary to keep pests under control.  An IPM approach uses cultural, biological, and chemical methods. The goal of IPM strategies for insects is to prevent or eliminate problems caused by unacceptably high numbers of insects, rather than eliminating all insects from the ecosystem.  Options for pest management might include:

  • Having only the exterior of the home treated.
  • Having both the inside and outside treated.
  • Make mechanical changes to the home to prevent pest intrusion.
  • Make simple changes like lighting changes or reduce foliage to
    discourage pest populations

Termidor ®

Termidor ® termiticide/insecticide is the leading liquid termiticide on the market and is a professional termite defense product effective on native subterranean termites, Formosan termites, and drywood termites. Talstar Professional ®

Talstar Professional ® is used to control over 75 pests, including ants, cockroaches, spiders, centipedes, and silverfish. Talstar is approved for indoors and out, industrial, commercial and food-handling areas. It is water based, so it’s non-irritating and contains no odorous or plant-damaging solvents, leaves no unsightly residues, and causes no phytotoxicity.
